Kale Ramzi Oghanna , Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region, received a delegation of academics specializing in the Syriac heritage and language coming from Turkey. The delegation included Ferhad Demir, Faisal Bashajee, Youssef Bagdash, and Nadia Wali, On 29 Jan, 2023.
The visit came to get a close look at the activities and services provided by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the fields of Syriac language and heritage. The visitors praised the achievements made under the current administration and what it formed in addition to the cultural and artistic achievement.
While Oghanna indicated that the doors of the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts are open to everyone, stressing its readiness to cooperate in the future with all specialists and academics in a way that contributes to strengthening the culture of our people, developing our language, and documenting the Syriac heritage.
