The General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts has issued a new book, including its achievements and news of its events and activities that it organized during the year 2022.
In the introduction to the book, the authors put the speech delivered by Chaldo Ramzi Ogna on the occasion of his assumption of his duties as Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, in which he indicated that “as we stand today on the threshold of a new era in the march of the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, we hope that it will be full of work and activities on all levels.” Putting in our plans that the year 2022 be distinguished and full of achievements, and other years will follow that are more distinguished and accomplished, thanks to the cooperation and support of our people, the support of the Kurdistan Regional Government, in the person of its President, Mr. Masrour Barzani, and the support and encouragement of our Ministry, the Ministry of Culture and Youth, which was and still is supportive of us. Despite the circumstances of the financial crisis and its consequences”, so that all these achievements come as confirmation of the hard and painstaking work in order to achieve this plan on the ground.
The book was prepared by the Media Department of the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, and the book came in (254) large-sized newspapers, including news of the Directorate’s activities in the Syriac, Kurdish, Arabic and English languages, decorated with a bouquet of colorful expressive pictures, which transport the browser to the atmosphere of this city.
