On Monday 29 April 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, received the artist Homeh Lazar, who came from Australia, at the directorate building in Ankawa district centre.
During the meeting, Oghanna gave a brief explanation of the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts’ activities, and its contributions to supporting the Syriac cultural reality in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He further indicated that the Directorate’s doors are open for cooperation with all relevant individuals and cultural institutions.
Oghanna presented the visiting guest with a copy of the latest issue of “Banipal” magazine, which is published quarterly by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
