Charlie Anviyeh, representative of the Assyrians-Chaldeans in the Iranian Shura Council, accompanied by the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Minister of Transport and Communications, Anu Jawhar Abdoka, visited the Syriac Heritage Museum in Ankawa on Sunday 12 November 2023. He was received by Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, and Bernard Youssef, Director of Heritage and the Syriac Museum.
The guest wandered through the museum’s corridors and viewed its collections, expressing his admiration for the exhibits, especially the historical mural and traditional costumes, as well as the cultural hall containing pictures and brief biographies of our people’s creative, influential and thinkers.
Anviyeh expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Syriac Heritage Museum in Ankawa by writing a brief speech in the visit log.
