Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, participated in the proceedings of the conference, “Religious Pluralism in Iraq… Managing Diversity and the Challenges of Difference,” which was held by the Palace of Conferences Department on Monday 27 November 2023, at the Muhammad Rida al-Shabibi Hall, in the presence of a number of officials, representatives and advisors, as well as cultural, social and religious figures.
The conference activities included two dialogue sessions on cultural, social and educational diversity, as well as ways to build and support peaceful coexistence. During the closing ceremony, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts was honored with the conference plaque in appreciation of its supportive role and active contribution to it. The Director General of the Palace of Conferences Department, Dr. Muntasir Sabah al-Hasnawi, handed it over to Director General, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna.
