Oghanna Appreciates Role of Yonan Hozaya Centre in Syriac Symposium’s Success

On Monday 9 September 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, received a delegation from the Yonan Hozaya Centre for Research and Future Studies, which included Kamel Kunda, Adeeb Goga and Adel Danno, at the Directorate’s building in Ankawa District Centre.

The two parties exchanged talks about the prospects of joint cooperation, especially after the success of their cooperation in organising the First Athra Syriac Symposium, which recently concluded its activities, with Oghanna confirming that the General Directorate’s doors are open to cooperation with all our people’s institutions in the homeland and abroad.

Oghanna appreciated the Centre’s role in the Symposium’s success, as it was a basic partner in it, looking forward to the importance of joint cooperation in upcoming activities.

The visit was attended by the head of the Symposium’s organising committee, writer Peter Hermiz Nabati.
