On Wednesday 23 October 2024, A delegation from the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, headed by Director General Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, visited writer Saeed Shamaya to check on his health, as well as follow up on his recent cultural and literary works.
The two parties discussed our people’s cultural reality and the means to develop and sustain it, as Oghanna praised writer Said Shamaya’s career, which is full of his valuable and generous contributions supporting it, stressing that the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts’s doors are open to cooperation with all individuals and institutions, in a way that serves our people’s heritage and culture.
