On Monday 30 May 2022, the Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in Dohuk held a celebration on the occasion of International Children’s Day, in cooperation with Shlama Foundation, at the Mar Ith-Allaha Cathedral Hall in Dohuk. This was held in the presence of Mar Azad Shaba, pastor of the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of Dohuk, Shimon Shlimon, Deputy Governor of Dohuk, Ninos Odisho, member of the Provincial Council, and a number of officials.
After a welcoming speech delivered by Raed Jirjis, Director of Syriac Culture and Arts in Dohuk, the events of the day continued and included various activities, competitions and gifts for children.
