The Director-General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Kaldo R. Oghanna, paid a visit to the Armenian Consulate in Erbil and he was accompanied by the Director of Administration and Personality, Fouad Babka, and the Relationship Officer, Dlawar Marcos. They were sincerely received by the Consul General of Armenia, Arshak Manukyan, and the high-ranking staff of the consulate, on Wednesday evening, December 14, 2022. During the meeting, the Armenian side was introduced to the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region and its active role in the Syriac cultural movement in particular, and in the region in general. Moreover, it organizes activities and events in many cities of the region and these events are not limited to Erbil or Ankawa only. They also discussed ways of cooperation, and the Armenian Consul General expressed their desire to organize joint activities between the two parties.
