On Saturday 20 April 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region received a delegation from the Chaldean Democratic Union Party at the directorate’s headquarters in Ankawa district centre. This included Deputy Secretary-General George Touma Esho and a number of members of its leadership.
During their conversation, the two parties stressed the importance of developing and strengthening relations between our people’s institutions and the necessity of permanent cooperation in serving our people. Oghanna stressed that the Directorate’s doors are open for cooperation with all our people’s various institutions in a way that serves Syriac culture and heritage.
