Under the patronage of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Culture and Youth Ministry, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts and the Syriac Writers and Authors Union are holding a celebration on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the birth of the first Syriac newspaper. This will include official speeches, a discussion panel, as well as honoring a group of journalists working in the Syriac press.
This will be on Thursday 31 October 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning, at the Chaldean Family Club Hall in Ankawa.
