On the evening of Thursday 19 December 2024, Lebanese artist and singer Layal Nehme performed an evening of Christmas carols in the city of Zakho, coinciding with the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The evening was held in coordination between the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts and the Zakho Chaldean Catholic Archdiocese, which hosted the evening, with the participation of the choir of the St. George Chaldean Catholic Cathedral in Zakho.
The Ankawa Christmas Festival’s organising committee recently announced Lebanese artist and singer Layal Nehme’s participation in the launching ceremony of the fourth annual festival’s activities, with the additional participation of the Ankawa Chaldean Catholic Church’s children’s choir.
