On Tuesday 1 October 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, received a delegation from M Radio, headed by its Director Shabo Mikhail Shabo, which broadcasts from Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
The two parties discussed the most prominent activities and events organised by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, and its role in supporting the Syriac cultural reality in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the broader area.
The two parties stressed the importance of strengthening relations between all institutions in the region, as Oghanna indicated, on his part, that the General Directorate’s doors are open to cooperating with all institutions and individuals, in a way that serves our people’s heritage and culture.
