On Friday 28 June 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region participated in the opening of the public exhibition held by the Armenian Cultural and Social Association in the park of its headquarters in Erbil. This was in the presence of Fr. Artun Khalatian, pastor of Erbil’s Armenian Apostolic Church, and Nubar Sipan Gharib, head of the association’s administrative body.
The exhibition included a display of handicrafts and other works in which a number of children participated, as well as a special pavilion for traditional foods that characterise the Armenian community in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
