On Tuesday 26 March 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, visited the site of rehearsals conducted by the Directorate’s Syriac Arts Ensemble, in preparation for the Fourth Annual Syriac Heritage Festival, which is scheduled to be held in early April.
Oghanna was briefed on the rehearsals that the band is conducting in preparation for its participation in the upcoming Syriac Heritage Festival, and he stressed that more efforts will be made to appear in a manner befitting the directorate, expressing his readiness to overcome all obstacles and provide the logistical support that the ensemble needs.
It is worth noting that the Kurdistan Regional Government’s General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts has been organising a Syriac heritage festival in April every year, during which various heritage and popular events are held.
