On Wednesday 24 April 2024, the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, met with Lebanese Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Abdullah Bou Habib, in the presence of the President of the Syriac League in Lebanon, Mr. Habib Afram, during his tour in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
The meeting took place during a lunch session, which witnessed the parties talking about the situation in the Middle East region and the Christian presence there. The interlocutors stressed the importance of solidarity and cooperation in order to preserve the historical Christian presence in the East.
