On Sunday 24 March 2024, the pastor of the Syriac Catholic Diocese of Adiabene in Erbil, Bishop Mar Nathaniel Nizar Ajam, received a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government’s General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts. This included Director General Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director of the Syriac Heritage and Museum Bernard Youssef, and a number of the Directorate’s employees.
The two parties discussed the most prominent cultural and social activities and events organised by the General Directorate during the last period, where Oghanna confirmed that the Directorate’s doors are open for cooperation with all official, religious and social institutions related to the Syriac culture and language.
