On Tuesday 19 March 2024, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts honored its employees who had reached the legal age and were recently referred for retirement, with a ceremony held in the hall of the Directorate’s Syriac Heritage Museum.
Part of the celebration was attended by the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Transport and Communications Minister Anu Jawhar Abdoka, who gave a speech in which he praised all the efforts made by employees in their government careers, in addition to the presence of the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director of the Syriac Heritage and Museum Bernard Youssef, and a number of the directorate’s employees.
During his speech on the occasion, Oghanna praised the efforts of the retired employees, offering his thanks for their dedication and sincerity to their work, wishing them good luck and success in other areas of their lives.
