On Monday 2 December 2024, a delegation from the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts visited the Chaldean Culture Society in Ankawa to offer congratulations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of its establishment. They were received by a number of the society’s administrative body members.
The visiting delegation included Director General Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Syriac Heritage and Museum Director Bernard Youssef, and a number of the Directorate’s employees. The delegation offered its congratulations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the society’s establishment, and expressed its wishes for success and prosperity to the administrative body and all society members in serving our people’s heritage and culture.
The two parties discussed enhancing prospects for joint cooperation between our people’s cultural institutions, stressing the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts’ role in spreading cultural awareness and preserving our people’s heritage in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
