On Tuesday 9 July 2024, a delegation from the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts visited the Department of Non-Governmental Organisations in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, to extend their congratulations and best wishes to its new administrator, on the occasion of his assuming the position and undertaking his new duties.
The visiting delegation included Director General Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Syriac Heritage and Museum Director Bernard Youssef, Syriac Library Director Fayhaa Shamoun, and a number of the Directorate’s employees. The delegation offered congratulations and best wishes to new Department Director Falah Hassan, on the occasion of his assumption of the position, and wished him success in his new duties.
During their conversation, the two parties stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the two sides, and ways to support the presence of components in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
