The book “T.S. Eliot, The Great Poet,” by author, poet and writer Nizar Hanna al-Derani was recently issued by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, within the Syriac Culture Series of the Syriac Library and in the Modern Syriac language (Sureth). Within, it contains a biography of the poet’s life and the impact he left on the field of modernity, especially in his famous poem “The Waste Land,” as well as 7 of his long poems.
