On Wednesday 17 January 2024, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, received a delegation from the Ankawa Social Academic Centre, at the directorate’s building in Ankawa District Centre, Erbil Governorate.
During the meeting, Oghanna appreciated the role of the Academic Centre in hosting and supporting the Ankawa Christmas Festival, stressing the importance of cooperation between institutions for the success of these public events in Ankawa.
The visiting delegation included the Academic and Social Centre’s head, Jalal Habib, and a number of members of the centre’s administrative body.
