On Wednesday, 16 August 2023, a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government’s General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts visited the headquarters of the Ankawa Local Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to extend congratulations on the 77th anniversary of its founding.
The delegation included General Director Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director of Syriac Heritage and the Museum, Bernard Youssef, Director of the Syriac Library, Fayhaa Chamoun, and a number of the directorate’s employees. The delegation congratulated the leadership and members of the party on the anniversary of its founding.
The delegation was received by the head of the Ankawa local committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Atheel Makdisi, and a number of party cadres in the town.
