They were received by His Holiness Patriarch Mar Awa III, Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East, Mar Bashar Matti Warda, Patriarch of the Chaldean Diocese of Erbil, Mar Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul and Kurdistan for the Syriac Orthodox, Mar Nathanael Nizar Ajam, Bishop of Hadyab for the Syriac Catholics, Mar Abris Youkhana, Patriarchal Assistant of the Assyrian Church of the East, and Mar Shimon Daniel, Bishop of Iraq for the Ancient Eastern Church, as well as several priests.
