Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, accompanied by Fouad Shamoun, Director of Administration at the General Directorate, visited the headquarters of the Syriac Writers Union for the purpose of congratulating them on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the founding of the Union, on December 2, 2022.
The President and Vice-President of the Federation thanked the well-wishers, expressing the Union’s pleasure in cooperating with the General Directorate and organizing joint activities and events. Mr. Boulos presented the Union shield to Mr. Oghanna in honor and appreciation for the distinguished role of the Directorate at the various artistic, cultural, and literary levels.
Moreover, Mr. Oghanna praised the union’s creative activity and its continuity over the years despite all obstacles, stressing the necessity of continuing cooperation in the future.
