Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, received Aryan Salahuddin, Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth of the Kurdistan Regional Government, on the morning of Sunday, 20August 2023, at the General Directorate building in Ankawa district centre, in the presence of the General Directorate’s directors of departments.
During the meeting, Mr. Salahuddin praised the efforts made by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts and the pivotal role it plays in Iraqi Kurdistan’s cultural scene.
For his part, Oghanna expressed the Syriac Cultural Directorate’s appreciation for the support of the Kurdistan Regional Government, especially the Ministry of Culture, rendered to the cultures of its components, as well as its constant endeavor to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of their prosperity and development.
