On Monday, May 5, 2025, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, visited the Syriac Culture Directorate in Duhok Governorate, where he was received by its director, Raed Jargis Oraha, along with the staff and personnel of the directorate.
As part of the visit, Oghna held an extensive meeting with the administrative and professional staff to discuss the new work plan aimed at advancing the cultural life of our community in Duhok. During the meeting, Oghanna emphasized the importance of collaboration among the institutions and directorates affiliated with the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, stressing the need for joint efforts to enrich and develop the cultural reality of our people.
The meeting also included a discussion of the new work plan and addressed key activities and events the directorate is expected to organize across various regions inhabited by our community throughout the current year.
