On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, a delegation from the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts visited the Social Academic Center in Ankawa to extend congratulations on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The delegation was received by the head of the Administrative Board, Mr. Jalal Habib, along with several board members.
The delegation was led by the General Director, Mr. Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, and included several staff members from the directorate. During the visit, the delegation offered their congratulations and best wishes to the center’s administration, wishing them continued success in serving the community.
During the meeting, Mr. Oghanna praised the role of the Social Academic Center in the events and festivals organized by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts. He emphasized the importance of cooperation among institutions within the community in various social activities, noting that the doors of the General Directorate are always open for collaboration with all institutions to enrich and develop the cultural life of our people.
