The General Directorate of Syriacs and Syriac Arts in the Government of Kurdistan, was organized on Thursday evening, 1 June 2023.

Children’s Day said to be a special day for children in Ankawa Festival activities organized by the General Directorate of Culture and Syriac Arts in Cooperation and Coordination with District Commissioner of Ankawa And a number of civil society organizations.
The ceremony included a Cartoon figure presented by members of the Syriac Department, and a theatrical show carrying the title of “Azawi”, which participated in the performance of children’s house, as well as the Sinbad Book Library.
The ceremony is plagued by competitions and activities among children participating in the festival, to conclude its activities to provide gifts and infrastructure for the sponsors of the festival.
Children’s Day organized by the Directorate General of Syriac and Syriacs in cooperation and coordination with the lawmarks of the District Commissioner of Ankawa ,Ankawa Association for Women, Children and Social Academic Center in Ankawa.
