For the second day in a row, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts continued to visit a number of other institutions and official departments in Ankawa, in order to thank and appreciate their efforts in supporting the Ankawa Christmas Festival, which was held late last December.
The visits conducted by a delegation headed by Director General Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, on Tuesday, 23 January 2024, included the Erbil Health Department, Ankawa Civil Defense Department, Ankawa Water and Sewerage Department, in addition to the Barza Company. During these meetings, Oghanna appreciated the great role of these institutions’ officials in contributing to the success of the activities of the Ankawa Christmas Festival, both from his position, and presented plaques of appreciation to them in honour of their efforts.
During the visits conducted by the directorate’s delegation, Oghanna stressed the importance of cooperation between institutions for the success of such public events that are held annually in Ankawa.
The visiting delegation included the General Director of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, member of the festival’s supreme authority Sarmad Jalal, and a number of the directorate’s employees.
