On Thursday, 27 April 2023, the Iraqi poet Bashar Al-Maqdisi visited the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region in Ankawa district, Erbil Governorate.
Al-Maqdisi was received by the General Director, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, They discussed the activities and events held by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the region.
At the end of the meeting, Oghanna thanked the guest for his visit and expressed the Directorate’s readiness to cooperate with all individuals and cultural and artistic institutions in the country.
