In two copies, paper and electronic, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region issued the new issue of Banipal Magazine (Spring 2023), carrying the sequence (48), through which the magazine continues to pave its creative path despite the obstacles.
The issue was topped (first speech) by the editor-in-chief, in which he said: “Perhaps we are not exaggerating if we say that the difficulties facing Banipal magazine during its new journey after its re-issuance have turned into an incentive that fuels the spirit of work and challenge among its supervisors and employees, as well as its writers. Rather, those obstacles became a motive that encourages them to exert more efforts for your magazine to continue its journey, paving the way in front of it and trying, as much as possible, to overcome the obstacles and obstructions so that Banipal will return to publication. And if its caps were obscured for a short period, its sun will not set.
And he concluded by promising the readers, “Your magazine, Banipal, will continue its creative path with your support and assistance, and the support of all creators and writers who provide it with everything new, useful and distinguished.”
In this issue, you will read topics ranging from research, studies, articles and poems, as well as interviews and other topics covering all sections.
