The new issue of Banipal Magazine for Summer 2023, carrying the series number 49, has been published by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. It is in two copies, paper and electronic, and is full of abundant and varied topics.
Also, through the Foreword that begins the issue, the Banipal editorial board clarifies that it continues its struggle “to remain in contact with you and to follow with you the journey of your magazine, which is rich in topics, wealthy in research and studies, and resplendent with news of the unique activities and events organized by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts.”
Furthermore, the Foreword concludes by saying, “Your magazine is full because of you and continues its journey with your unlimited support, aid and encouragement, and our ambition for more brilliance and creativity is also without limits.”
It is worth noting that Banipal Magazine is a cultural quarterly published by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in four languages: Syriac, Arabic, Kurdish and English.
