A delegation from the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts of the Kurdistan Regional Government visited, on Monday, 15 May 2023, His Beatitude the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, Mar Louis Raphael Sako, at his residence in Baghada .
The Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, expressed his solidarity with Cardinal Sako following the recent attack on him, stressing that the Patriarchate is our religious authority, which we condemn attempts to harm and offend.
The delegation included the Director General of Syriac Culture and Arts in the Kurdistan Region, Kaldo Ramzi Oghanna, the Director of the Syriac Arts Troupe, Laith Benjamin, in addition to members of the directorate’s troupe.
Cardinal Sacco thanked the visiting delegation and praised their efforts, wishing everyone success in their work.
