As part of its activities in support of Syriac theatre, the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts’ Shimsha Acting Troupe presented the play “Tobias” on the stage of the Chaldean Culture Association in Ankawa district centre on the evening of Friday 24 November 2023, amid the presence of a massive audience.
It is worth noting that the play “Tobias” is adapted from a text by American writer Glenn Hughes, directed by Latif Numan Siyawish, and starring Hadir Kunda, Ivan Saadi, Avin Baher, and a number of male and female artists from the Shimsha Troupe.
The presentation came in cooperation between the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts, the Chaldean Culture Association, and the Social Academic Center.
